A Shelburne man accused of improperly identifying himself as a member of the military has been arrested.
Shelburne police say they launched an investigation in January after being contacted about a man who was wrongfully identifying himself, while wearing military medals and a uniform.
The Military Police also contributed to the four month long investigation.
On Saturday, police revealed they have arrested and charged a 51-year-old man for unlawful use of a military uniform.
The accused will appear before a court later this month.
