Barrie police are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of a vehicle who struck a tree and a parked vehicle on Saturday morning.

According to investigators, the vehicle was headed northwest on Holly Meadow Road towards Farmstead Crescent at roughly 9:50 a.m. That’s when police say the vehicle crossed Farmstead, mounting the curb and striking a tree.

Police then say the vehicle continued to drive over the tree, hitting a vehicle parked in a driveway. The suspect vehicle was last seen travelling northeast on Farmstead.

No injuries are reported, but officers say there is considerable property damage.

The vehicle is described as being silver or light grey with significant damage to the front end. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
