VAUGHAN, Ont. -- Police are seeking any information on a driver believed to have fled the scene of a fatal car accident.
York Regional police say the hit and run took place late Monday night when a 35-year-old man was struck by a car around Highway 7 and Keele Street.
The man later died of his injuries.
His name was not released.
Police say the car that hit him failed to stop at the scene, but did not provide a description of either the vehicle or the driver.
Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
