A 49-year-old Everett man is Ontario’s newest millionaire after hitting a $1.3 million jackpot at Georgian Downs on Friday.
Andrew Legacy won the $1,370.911.72 jackpot while playing the Michael Jackson – King of Pop version of a progressive slot game called ‘Mighty Millionaire.’
“I still can’t believe this is real,” said Andrew after being told he did, in fact, win the multi-million dollar progressive jackpot. “I have never won anything before.”
The glass mechanic was on his way out of the gaming site when he decided to try one more spin. That’s when the bells went off on the slot machine and he realized he won something.
Despite this unexpected windfall, Andrew says he is not quitting his job.
He is planning to pay off the mortgage on his house and buy a new truck.
