Two occupants escape kitchen fire
Emergency crews tended to a fire at a home in Alliston Saturday afternoon where the two occupants were evacuated safely.
New Tecumseth’s fire chief told CTV News that firefighters, Nottawasaga OPP and County of Simcoe Paramedics responded to the scene on Buchanan Drive at 3 p.m.
The fire reportedly originated in the kitchen and extended into the wall and cabinets, causing an estimated $7,500 in damage.
New Tecumseth’s fire chief also confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident.
