Nearly four months after the lottery draw, Barry Anstett is declaring his $1 million win.

Anstett, 56, has been playing the lottery for the past couple of years.

Anstett is now delighted to share the news of his first big win, courtesy of OLG’s limited-time lottery game, Triple Millions.

“I was at the store when I scanned my ticket and discovered my win,” Anstett said when visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall December 18.

“I was certainly surprised and a little anxious, but very excited as well.”

Triple Millions was a limited-time OLG lottery game that was available for $20 between June 20 and August 29.

Triple Millions featured three $1 million guaranteed top prizes, three $50,000 early bird prizes, and 402 additional prizes between $1,000 and $250,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas+ on Balsam Street in Collingwood on August 12.
