A stretch of Highway 400 will be closed this weekend near Schomberg for the demolition of a bridge.
The highway will be closed in both directions on Saturday so crews can remove the Highway 9 bridge. The closure is expected to take effect at 11 p.m. and last until about 8 a.m. Sunday.
Detours will be in place for drivers travelling along both Highway 400 and Highway 9.
Last month the highway was closed between Mapleview Drive and Innisfil Beach Road for the demolition of the McKay Bridge.
