A Grey Highlands boy had to be airlifted to hospital last week after injuring his arm, while using a wood planer.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Grey Road 9 on Friday, at around 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a seven-year-old boy being injured.
According to provincial police, the boy was operating an industrial-style wood planer and injured his arm. The boy’s father was with him when the incident happened.
The child was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries.
The Children’s Aid Society has been notified and Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is now investigating.
