GO Transit has expanded its summer routes to Barrie once again.

The train makes stops to and from Barrie beginning at Union Station and ending at Allandale Waterfront station. The service runs on weekends and holidays throughout the summer.

GO Transit is running additional trains from Union Station this summer starting at 12:20 p.m., 4:20 p.m., 6:20 p.m. and 10:20 p.m.

The trains arrive at Allandale Waterfront Station at 1:55 p.m., 5:55 p.m., 7:55 p.m., and 11:55 p.m. with stops at York University, Rutherford, Maple, King City, Aurora, Newmarket, East Gwillimbury, Bradford, and Barrie South along the way.

Southbound trains leave Barrie at 9:40 a.m., 2:10 p.m., 3:51 p.m., and 8:10 p.m., arriving in Toronto at 11:18 a.m., 3:48 p.m., 5:31 p.m., and 9:48 p.m.

This service is in addition to the regular service GO already offers.
