A man injured in a two vehicle crash near Stayner yesterday remains in serious condition in a Toronto hospital.

Police say two vehicles collided head-on between Sunnidale Corners and Klondike Park at about 4:15 p.m.  on July 31, 2013. Police say a pick-up truck travelling eastbound on Highway 26 near Klondike Park Road crossed the centre line and collided with an S-U-V. The 66 year old male driver of the truck was transported to a Toronto hospital suffering serious injuries.

A passenger in the truck and the driver and a passenger in the S-U-V were taken to hospital in Collingwood with various injuries. Police have not released details on the injuries but say some are serious.

The accident scene was closed for about six hours as the Central Region traffic collision investigation unit investigated the crash.
