The leader of a Chatsworth area church charged with several sexual assault and assault charges has been released on bail.

Frederick Madison King, 55, appeared in an Owen Sound court on Wednesday where he was granted $50 thousand bail with several conditions.

He must live with his brother in Oakville for the time being and cannot have contact with any of the several complainants in the case.

King was arrested on a Canada Wide warrant last week in Hamilton. The OPP launched the investigation into King and his church following a CTV W5 investigation.

He faces a total of 25 charges. His next court appearance is scheduled for May.
