Noah Green, 11, is an extremely talent piano player and composer.

“I have a couple of jazz pieces,” he said, “and some more classical. I've composed about seven classical. I haven't written them down; I just know them in my head. I've been playing piano since I was three and a half. I loved it. I couldn't stop playing. I was on the piano for hours.”

Noah plays for two hours a day with a piano teacher.

He also studies under the Canadian National Conservatory.

He plays his school’s piano during recess and often his classmates gather around to listen.

“Noah is very dedicated to his craft,” said Nottawa Elementary School Principal Troy Comish. “He spends a lot of time practising at school during school hours. It's certainly paying off. He's quite a talented young student.”

Noah has played at provincial competitions and local churches, and he says the audience is his favourite part of performing.

“I like watching them smile. I like making people feel good when I play.”
