Barrie Police need help from the public to identify a man they believe is responsible for the theft of watches in Barrie.
The thefts all happened at The Bay, the latest being on September 4th.
Police say surveillance video captured a man selecting four Lacoste watches while in the jewelry department and then moving to another area of the store and removing the alarm sensors before hiding the items and leaving the store.
Further investigation by police led them to identify the same man as responsible for two additional thefts in August, where six Lacoste watches were stolen.
He is described as:
- White
- Late 20’s
- 5’8”
- 175 – 200 lbs
- Medium build
- Short brown hair, shaved on both sides
He was wearing a blue plaid shirt, dark baseball cap (on one occasion), dark cargo shorts, and dark running shoes with white soles.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
