A 19-year-old woman faces a racing charge after being stopped for going more than 70 km/h over the limit.
An officer from the Barrie OPP detachment was patrolling Highway 400 in Springwater Township on Thursday Oct. 24th when he noticed a car going well over the limit.
The officer stopped the vehicle which was going at 174 km/h.
The woman from Maple, Ont is charged with racing a motor vehicle, her licence was suspended for 7 days and her car was impounded for 7 days.
She will be in court on December 6th, 2013.
