Thousands of campers and vendors are headed to Burl’s Creek for an automotive lover’s paradise.
Thursday is the opening day of the Spring Automotive Flea Market in Oro-Medonte. Classic wheels and hard to find parts are spread over 350 acres of land.
"What you can expect is pretty decent classic cars for sale,” says vendor Wayne Copeland. “Something you can jump in and drive, and have some fun with or as an investment."
Copeland has been a vendor for more than 30 years. He's known for selling antique rides like a ‘64 Ford Galaxy Convertible.
"I've had a good time all my life with them. I keep coming back for that."
When the flea market was created there were only 35 vendors. Now there are more than 3,000.
“Try to go for some really special stuff, and there’s quite an interest in the old toys," says vendor Phil Gemeinhardt
Cars, trucks and motorcycles from across North American will be vying for the chance to win one of 11 trophies at this year’s show.
