Shots fired at home in Georgina

Shots fired in Georgina have police looking for an SUV.

York Regional Police say they were called to a Connell Drive and Church Street address at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Upon arrival, they determined a home had been struck several times by gunfire.

Police say a dark-coloured SUV stopped in front of the home and fired ‘multiple’ rounds from the car.

The SUV then fled the scene and was last seen driving eastbound on Church Street.

York Regional investigators are asking anyone with home surveillance or dashcam footage of the roads  around that time is asked to come forward.
