The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of a house fire in Beeton.
Firefighters were contacted after heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from a home on Kate Aitken Crescent, just before 6 p.m.
Fire crews took an aggressive exterior attack in an attempt to get control of the flames. Eventually they were successful, but not before the fire caused about $150,000 in damage.
Provincial police and the OFM continue to investigate the cause.
