A 37-year-old Collingwood man is facing charges of trying to lure a child on the Internet.
Police caught the man after a sting operation on Dec. 20 when he went to a local establishment where he thought he was meeting a 15-year-old girl. However, police say plainclothes officers were waiting for him and he was arrested.
He was charged with two counts of luring a child on the Internet.
The OPP say there were investigating the man for over a month.
He was released from custody and has a bail hearing Jan. 21 in Collingwood.
