A person has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle crash in Mulmur this afternoon, police tell CTV News.
OPP say a person was rushed to Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston. Ornge says they then airlifted the person, a man in his 20s, to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto with chest injuries. He is in serious condition.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m. on the 20th Sideroad. OPP Const. Paul Nancekivell tells CTV News the motorcycle went into the ditch. It was the only vehicle involved.
OPP have closed the 20th Sideroad from 5th Line East to Airport Road for the single-vehicle crash. The road is expected to stay closed for hours while police investigate.
This is the third major motorcycle crash in the area today.
