Police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a 27-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting at a cafe north of Toronto in June.

York Regional Police say Jason Hay of Mississauga, Ont., is wanted in connection with the incident at the Moka Expresso Bar Cafe in Vaughan, Ont.

They say he is considered armed and dangerous and are urging the public not to approach him but to call 911 to report any sightings.

Police also say anyone who helps Hay in evading police could be subject to a criminal charge of accessory after the fact.

Maria Voci, 47, and Christopher Desimone, 24, were killed in the cafe attack. Two other men were injured but police haven't identified them to ensure their safety.

Police have said a gaming operation was being run at the cafe at the time, but they're still investigating whether it was connected to the shooting.

Police have also said they found an abandoned getaway car used in the shooting, which they said was stolen from Napanee, in eastern Ontario, on June 18 or 19.
