The Barrie Colts have traded centre Erik Bradford, 3rd round pick in 2015 and a conditional 3rd round pick in 2016 to the Ottawa 67’s for forward Joseph Blandisi.

Blandisi, who was drafted in the 6th round in 2012 by Colorado, has 21 goals and 37 points in 37 games so far this season with the 67’s.

“Blandisi is a player that will add to our overall skill level and strengthen the forward units. He competes and plays the game with passion and we are extremely pleased to acquire him,” said Colts GM Jason Ford in a release.

Bradford, who is from Orangeville, has 10 goals and 26 points in 39 games with the Colts.

“We wish Erik Bradford all the best with the Ottawa 67's. He has always played the game with passion and enthusiasm here in Barrie,” added Ford.

The OHL trade deadline is January 10th, 2013 at noon.
