The Barrie Colts will have three new faces on their roster when they play Sudbury Saturday night.

The Colts acquired defencemen Ben Harpur and Chadd Bauman from the Guelph Storm just before the OHL trade deadline.

In return the Storm got defenceman C.J Garcia, rookie forward Givani Smith, the Colts 2nd round picks in 2017 & 2018, 5th round pick in 2019 and a 10th round pick in 2020.

Ben Harpur was originally drafted by the Guelph Storm in 3rd round in the 2011. The fourth year defenceman has appeared in 196 career OHL games, all with Guelph, registering 11 goals and 44 assists for 55 points.

Chadd Bauman is from Conestogo, Ontario and has played 150 career OHL games tallying 9 goals and 21 points.

The Colts also acquired right-winger Stephen Nosad from the Peterborough Petes in exchange for a 10th round pick in 2016.

Nosad is from Tottenham and has 27 goals and 52 assists in 205 career OHL games.
