Suspect nabbed after rash of break-ins in Angus
After more than half-a-dozen smash-and-grab break ins in Angus, police have caught their man.
During the Christmas holidays, retail stores, a cannabis shop, as well as a gas station were entered by smashing a hammer through the front door.
Each time, the suspects fled before police reached the scene.
Shortly before midnight on December 31, provincial officers were called to a break-in at the Angus Variety at 9 Margaret Street, in Essa Township. Video footage was obtained from several businesses showing descriptions of two suspects.
On January 6, police were once again called to several break-and-enters on Brentwood Road where power tools and other items were stolen from a resident's sheds.
