3 people sent to hospital after crash in Beeton

A two-vehicle crash in Beeton late Friday afternoon sent three people to the hospital.

The collision happened around 5 p.m. on Line 6 between the 10th and 15th Sideroads.

Emergency crews worked to free two people trapped inside one of the involved vehicles.

The extent of injuries was not provided.

Police closed the area briefly for the investigation and for the vehicles to be cleared from the scene. It has since reopened.

The cause of the crash hasn't been determined.
