Caledon high school lockdown lifted after police investigation

Students and staff at a Caledon high school were placed in a lockdown for a police investigation Tuesday afternoon.

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board confirmed to CTV News students and staff were safe.

A message was sent to families notifying them of the lockdown measure due to the police investigation at the school.

During a lockdown, students and staff must remain in their classrooms with the doors shut. No one is allowed to enter or leave the building.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. police reported that the lockdown was lifted.
