GO Trains on the Barrie line are expected to run normally Friday afternoon after a train collided with a dump truck collided during the morning commute.

The driver of the truck escaped was not injured and no passenger injuries were reported.

The front of the truck is smashed on one side, and the windshield is missing, as seen from the CTV chopper.

Emergency crews were on scene for most of the morning investigating.

GO Transit service resumed just after 11:00 a.m. and officials anticipate regular homebound service this afternoon.
