Fire caused more than a million dollars in damage to a McDougall Township auto body shop.

The blaze broke out just before 10 p.m. on Saturday at Constable Towing and Recovery.

A driver heading along Highway 400 noticed the flames and contacted emergency crews.

No one was hurt, but it took crews more than an hour to get the fire under control because of the flammable materials inside the shop.

Officials have pegged damage at $1.1 million.

The cause remains under investigation.
