For more than a century, the Delawana Inn has been the place to stay in Georgian Bay but now the resort has closed.

After more than 115 years in operation the Delawana was placed into receivership in April.

The boats continue to sail on Georgian Bay but they aren't stopping like they once did.

Local businesses in Honey Harbour, Ont. say they are noticing a drop in customers and are hoping  the resort reopens soon.

Aside from local businesses losing out on sales, the resort was the biggest employer in the area – supplying 300 part-time jobs.

The receivership company, Ernst & Young, is currently looking for a new owner.

People interested in buying the resort have until Monday, July 8th, 2013 to get their bids in.
