A 57-year-old Collingwood man was killed after a head-on crash south of Wasaga Beach on Saturday.
The crash happened along Highway 26 between Stayner and Wasaga Beach around 5:30 p.m.
Police say a car was travelling north when it veered into the southbound lane and colliding head-on with a pick-up truck.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police are still trying to determine why the car veered across the road.
The four people inside the truck were taken to hospital with serious injuries, one of those passengers, a 34-year-old woman from Ottawa, was airlifted to St. Mike’s Hospital in Toronto.
The road was closed for over four hours while police investigated.
