Caledon fire investigators are still searching for a cause after a blaze destroyed a home early Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire on Centreville Creek Road, just south of Old Church Road in Caledon, around 3 a.m.
Responding crews arrived to find the house engulfed in flames. A tanker shuttle consisting of six vehicles was utilized as part of a defensive attack plan by firefighters. It took crews several hours to knock out the blaze.
The house was completely destroyed. One person was home at the time – no injuries are reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
