Provincial police are investigating two separate collisions involving OPP cruisers in Southern Georgian Bay.

According to OPP, the first crash happened shortly before 2 p.m. at the intersection of Owen Street and Robert Street West in Penetanguishene.

While it’s unclear how many vehicles and individuals were involved, police say minor injuries were sustained in the collision.

Police closed the area for the investigation.

Another collision, this time involving four vehicles, happened just after 4 p.m. in Midland on County Road 93 between Yonge Street and Hugel Avenue.

Again, an OPP cruiser was involved in the crash.

Very few details are available, but police say it appears there was only property damage.

"Be aware of very slippery conditions," OPP stated regarding the incident.

Motorists should expect delays through the area.
