Woman seriously injured in motorcycle vs car collision

One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle with two riders struck a car in Creemore.

According to fire officials, the crash happened at the intersection of County Road 9 at Mill Street on Monday evening.

Police say the motorcycle and car were involved in a "t-bone" collision.

Both riders were thrown from the motorcycle. A woman passenger on the bike was taken to a Collingwood hospital. Her injuries are unknown.

Officers charged the driver of the other vehicle.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
