A woman was taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a Wasaga Beach home early Saturday morning.
It happened at a two storey home on Christopher Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. According to Wasaga Beach Fire Chief Michael McWilliam the fire was electrical and started in the bedroom
Fire crews were able to knock down the fire quickly and contain it to the bedroom.
The woman, the only person living in the house at the time, was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation but has since been released.
Officials say damage of the fire is estimated at $10,000.
