The woman charged in connection with the death of a newborn baby in Innisfil has been released from custody.
Crystal Jones, 42, was released on $500 bail, following a brief court appearance on Tuesday afternoon.
The accused is charged with concealing the body of a child and neglecting to obtain assistance in childbirth.
She was charged after police found the body of a baby boy outside a home last week. They believe the baby died on or around July 30th.
An investigation was launched after a doctor’s officer received a call about a woman who gave birth out of hospital without assistance.
