A jury in Barrie heard more evidence on Thursday about the undercover investigation of Andrew Keene.
Keene is on trial for the murder of Alexandra Flanagan.
The jury heard recordings from two meeting between Keene and an undercover officer who was posing as a crime boss.
In the recording, the investigator told Keene someone else would ‘take the fall’ for Flanagan’s death but first he wanted more details about the death.
The jury also heard in the recordings that Keene told the officer he probably strangled Flanagan with a piece of fabric in his basement apartment and he also told the officer he got rid of any evidence.
Also in the recordings, Keene revealed three locations in Barrie where he scattered Flanagan’s disremembered remains, including remains that at that point hadn’t been discovered. A day later, police found Flanagan’s torso in a bush near Highway 400 and Keene was arrested.
Keene has pleaded not guilty.
