The complete fire ban across the District of Muskoka has been lifted. The fire rating is now set at high. People are still asked to take extra precautions and to avoid burning when possible. Small fires are permitted in most rural areas of Muskoka, but no daytime burning is allowed. Adequate tools and water are required to put out the fire if necessary.
