Orillia bank robbed in broad daylight
Just before closing time, the TD bank on Monarch Drive in Orillia was robbed.
Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 4:30 p.m. Monday.
There is no word on the dollar amount taken, or if there was a weapon used during the heist.

Witnesses say OPP started searching the area for an unknown number of suspects and say the K9 team was stopping and searching cars in the area.
Police say there was no threat to public safety and that police are continuing their investigation.
