For a third straight day, emergency crews are searching a provincial park in Tiny Township for a missing Midland woman.

Eva Rozitis, 26, was reported missing to Midland police on Monday. That same day, investigators say they located her Toyota Yaris at Awenda Provincial Park.

A search effort was then launched with the help of the OPP emergency response team. An OPP helicopter and the Southern Georgian Bay marine unit were also used.

Emergency crews and volunteers spent Wednesday searching Awenda, but found nothing. Crews are back out at the park today.

At this point, the OPP is not asking for help from the general public for this search.

Investigators are concerned for Rozitis’ well-being because she requires medication on a daily basis.

Rozitis is described as being white, 5’10”, with a slim build, red hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark colour jacket, yoga pants, black and purple hiking boots, and a black and purple backpack.

Police believe there may have been two or three vehicles parked next to her vehicle. They’re asking anyone who was parked at Awenda to please come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
