Early morning fire under investigation

Crews from the Midland Fire Department are investigating an early morning fire at a residence on Barnett Avenue.

Southern Georgian Bay OPP also responded to the scene and confirmed no further threat to public safety.

At this time, it is unknown whether there were any injuries or whether the fire is considered suspicious.

Roads in the area were closed to allow for further investigation.
