A Toronto man is in police custody after a two vehicle collision on Highway 12 – just north of Brechin.
It happened just after 8:20 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 between County Rd. 47 and County Rd. 169 and involved a minivan and a SUV
Police say the SUV was hit when a van made a U-turn in front of it.
The driver of the van was taken to hospital with minor injuries. He has been released from hospital but is now in police custody and charges are pending.
OPP say alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
