Lock your shed or lose its contents.

That's the message from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Police have responded to four shed break-ins between Tuesday and Wednesday in the Glen Rogers Road area of Collingwood.

An investigation is underway, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Collingwood OPP at 705-445-4321 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Police are suggesting locking vehicles, residences and garages, but to also put valuables in the house or garage. Police also remind homeowners good lighting around the home is a theft deterrent and motion-activated lighting in areas of your property could help as well.
