Highway 400 in Barrie between Bayfield and Dunlop Streets were closed for nearly 8 hours between Friday night and Saturday morning.
The highway was closed around 11:30 p.m. and reopened just after 7 a.m.
There were multiple minor crashes due to icy conditions, including one that involved a tractor trailer that crashed into a guardrail.
No one was seriously injured.
