Highway 400 reopens in Muskoka Lakes after fatal propane truck rollover
Highway 400 reopened late Friday night in Georgian Bay Township after emergency crews tended to a fatal tanker truck rollover Friday morning.
Provincial police say the single-vehicle rollover crash involving an empty propane delivery truck happened along the highway near Go Home Lake.
Bracebridge OPP, Southern Georgian Bay OPP, Georgian Bay Fire and emergency services from Muskoka and Springwater responded to the scene around 11:07 a.m..
Provincial police had closed the southbound lanes of Highway 400 from Global Tower Road to Go Home Lake bridge in Muskoka Lakes for the investigation.

The driver and lone occupant of the truck, a 65-year-old from Woodstock, was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. The Ministry of Transportation was called to the scene because the incident involved a commercial work vehicle.
OPP confirmed in a 10:30 p.m. update Friday evening that Highway 400 had been reopened. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact Bracebridge OPP.
