Fatal multi-vehicle crash on Highway 93 under investigation
Provincial police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that claimed the life of one person in Springwater Township Wednesday morning.
Police say the crash involving three vehicles happened on Penetanguishene Road (Highway 93) around 6:30 a.m. north of Highway 400.

Paramedics pronounced a 46-year-old driver dead at the scene.
Police say a 25-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, while the third driver sustained minor injuries.
A section of Penetanguishene Road was closed for several hours for the investigation.
It has since reopened.
Police request anyone with information from the area at the time of the collision, including dash camera footage or surveillance video, to contact investigators at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
