Excavator absconded from Amaranth

In the middle of Saturday night, someone entered a private rural property and made off with a Bobcat excavator.

Film footage has the driver of a black pick-up truck attaching the loaded trailer to his truck before driving off.

Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) describe the tractor as a Bobcat 340 excavator 3.5 ton, white in colour. The approximate value of the tractor is $30,000.

The trailer is described as a CDTR 718, flatbed trailer, licence plate number 12958GL, black in colour. The approximate value of the trailer is $9,000.
