Details: One of the Museum’s most popular events, Last Blast brings to life vintage construction equipment, tractors, classic trucks, steam-powered rollers, shovels, road-building equipment, and much more with demonstrations for visitors of all ages. In addition to machinery displays and demonstrations, visitors can stroll the Museum grounds, take in the permanent displays, and visit the indoor vendor area along with the Lego® display, Mecanno® display and hands-on Mecanno® area. Stay for the day and purchase a BBQ lunch at our concession stand, or pack your own lunch to enjoy at our covered picnic areas. If you missed Wheels and Tracks in the spring, Last Blast will be your last chance to catch the area’s antique machines in action before the snow flies. Halloween Spooktacular at Santa’s Village

Details: Calling all goblins, ghouls and ghosts – Santa and his Elves have transformed Santa’s Village into a Spooktacular Village October 19 & 20 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm! There will be a Haunted House, Trick or Treating, a Pumpkin Patch and so much more! Don’t forget to wear your costume too! Your tickets include access to many of your favorite rides and attractions as well as several exciting Halloween activities. Please note that Santa’s Summer Sleigh & Elves Island will not be available during the Spooktacular weekends. All other rides will be in operation weather permitting. Online tickets can be printed at home or shown on your smartphone screen at the turnstile. Pumpkinferno at Haunted Harbour

Details: Experience the phenomenon of hauntingly magical and stirring outdoor exhibits of hand-carved pumpkins, all set against the night-time backdrop of Discovery Harbour.
But BEWARE…. new characters will be lurking about in the expanded TERROR ZONE!! The TERROR ZONE is an absolutely amazing scare zone if you dare to enter but is NOT recommended for children under the age of 12. The family-friendly "BOO Trail" and the virtual Coffin Ride return. The Caper Cafe will offer retail items including goodies, refreshments, Halloween inspired toys, limited costume wear and decor. This is an outdoor exhibit spanning our beautiful historic attraction. Please wear comfortable shoes and appropriate weather gear, we are open rain or shine. We will have a maze for the little ones to go through and a craft. There will be a refreshment stand along with a small retail area to get some goodies.

Fall Colour Excursions on the South Simcoe Steam Train
Date: October 5-6, 12-14 and 19-20 (Saturdays and Sundays)
Location: Tottenham - South Simcoe Railway Station - Downtown Tottenham on Hwy 9
Details: The most popular time of year to ride the train is the fall, when all the trees through the scenic Beeton Creek Valley display their changing colours. Enjoy the Conductor's friendly and informative commentary highlighting the history of the line, the train, and how the railways shaped our country. Passengers should arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time to allow sufficient time for parking, pick-up of pre-reserved tickets, washroom visits and boarding the train. Round-trip rides take 50 minutes. Reservations can be made online
Chappell Farms Fall Festival

Details: From late September all the way until Halloween, Chappell Farms offers our Fall Festival!
We have all kinds of activities such as feeding animals, a spooky haunted tent, a less spooky Boo Barn, pumpkin picking, magic shows, wagon rides and train rides.
There are hay bales to run on, jumping castles to play in, an obstacle course to challenge your agility and a corn maze to explore. There is also plenty of room to just run and play in the fresh air!
The wagon to the pumpkin patch runs continuously on the weekends and there are surprises to see along the way! Admission includes one pick-your-own pumpkin.
