Public works crews had to repair a road in the south end of Barrie after a snow plow crash.
Barrie police say yesterday a snow plow’s blade caught the edge of the road and dug into the pavement, sending the plow onto its side. The blade removed a big chunk of the road. Police say the driver wasn’t hurt.
Crews were out today repairing the chunk of McKay Road between County Road 27 and Veterans Drive. It was fixed before noon.
Barrie Fire Service and the Ministry of the Environment were also called because of a fluid spill.
