Arson suspected at Bradford new build, marking at least 4 in the area

The Ontario Fire Marshal's office and police are investigating suspected arson at a home under construction in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Police say the fire was reported Saturday night on Rowe Street in Bond Head.

The authorities say the initial investigation revealed the fire was deliberately set.

"Three homes in the immediate/development area have been targeted in the past year," the South Simcoe Police Service stated in a release.

No injuries were reported.

Police ask anyone with information, including video footage, that might assist in the investigation to contact the detective on the case via email or by calling 905-775-3311, ext. 1027.

Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
