Matthew Spring, the young man from Innisfil who was convicted of manslaughter last fall in the death of Bradley Hubbard at a mini golf centre in Barrie, has agreed to turn himself in to police.

An arrest warrant was issued for Spring this week after police allege he breached his bail conditions.

South Simcoe Police say Spring was identified as a suspect in a traffic investigation, where someone was cut off and went into the ditch. When police went looking for Spring, he wasn’t where he was supposed to be.

On Friday, South Simcoe Police say Spring agreed to turn himself in at a mutually agreeable time but the warrant will still exist until he does so.

Spring will be sentenced for his manslaughter conviction next Wednesday.
