The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been contacted to probe the cause of a destructive fire in Stayner on Friday afternoon.
Fire crews from Clearwater were called to Huronia Auto Services, around 3:40 p.m. for a report of a vehicle fire, but the flames quickly spread to a nearby building. One person was sent to hospital with minor injuries from smoke inhalation.
Fire officials have pegged damaged between $400,000 and $600,000.
The fire is out, but crews continue to tend to hotspots.
